Right to Manage
Whilst there are many reputable freeholders and managing agents across England & Wales, unfortunately there are occasions where leaseholders find themselves paying disproportionately high service charges, living in poorly maintained buildings or just loose faith in the performance of the current management structure.
Fortunately, the Commonhold & Leasehold Reform Act 2002 provides leaseholders with a mechanism which allows them to take control of the management functions of the property and appoint their chosen agent.
Colmore Gaskell are able to work with the leaseholders of such developments, provide advice and support in setting up and gaining the right to manage your development.
If you are considering taking control of your development via this route please feel free to contact us and we would be more than happy to assist you with this process.
